Thankful Thursday

This week I am thankful for:
1. A great adventure with my brave Kai Bear.  Guide: "Who wants to go first?" Kai: "We do!"

2.  Family walks.  Everyone was agreeable! Usually if just 1/4 is out of sorts it's a good outing so this was exceptional. Yahoo.

3.  A kid who loves to just get into what he's doing.  Nya would freak out if her hands were this dirty.

4. Beautiful BC. I love where we live!

5.  Mother daughter brunch.  I love L'elem Cafe in Fort Langley!  I don't go out to eat often but I had some money left on a gift card and it was the perfect way to use it.  I'll be back.

6. Eggs benny with smoked salmon. Yummers. It reminds me of our honeymoon because that's what I had each morning at our resort.

7.  The relationship that all of our kids, bio and foster, have together.

8. New glasses for $50.  I got my reading glasses a month ago through Costco and didn't want to wait two years to have my other (distance) glasses covered so I got them through Clearly.ca. According to this picture, I think I'm supposed to colour in my eyebrows or something.

9. Life insurance and a healthy body.  When we got our life insurance we had blood tests done and it was so fun to read the results in regards to our liver and kidney function and cholesterol etc.

10.  Going to a chiropractor.  I finally got over my fear of being adjusted after having lower back pain for about 2 years. I would have done it sooner but somehow it wasn't a priority.  It felt great and I look forward to my next visit.

What are you thankful for today?

Love,
Louise

  1. The glasses look great and Nya is the cutest brunch companion! I'm scared of chiropractors and am thankful I don't have any back pain (you've had it for 2 years? Yikes!)

    1. Thanks, Mandeep!! She is pretty adorable :) I love this age! I wouldn't say the pain was that bad which is why I waited that long! It just wasn't getting any better so time to do something about it.
