Project 365 | Week 4

Project 365 shows a photo a day.  I've included the properties of the photo in case you are interested in those kind of things :)

{70-200mm f/2.8 ISO 500  f/2.8 1/250th: Gone fishin'.  I have so many great memories of playing in ditches when I was a kid.  That sounds weird but we lived on an acreage at the end of a dead end street and played outside all day long. }

{70-200mm f/2.8 ISO 2000 f/2.8 1/200th: Making (very small) cookies.}

{50mm f/1.4 ISO 400  f/2.8 1/320: A snowy walk/snowshoe up at Mount Seymour}

{70-200mm f/2.8 ISO 400 f/5.0 1/2500: View at Derby Reach Heritage Area. I love the mountains.

{50mm f/1.4 ISO 1600 f/2.8 1/125: Nail polish drying. A pink and purple pattern of course.}

{24-70mm f/2.8 ISO 500 f/3.5 1/8000: Sea To Sky Hwy; oh how I wish I could take my time driving back and photograph it like crazy–the photo above and below are from Saturday as I worked Friday.}

{24-70mm f/2.8 ISO 640 f/2.8 1/4000: The second zipline. Longest but lowest–more on this amazing adventure on Monday}

What a week.  I've realized I really need to be outside.  Do you have a favourite from above? Do you have a favourite lens?

Love,
Louise

    I like the first and last shots in your sequence above. For me, they both seem to really capture the action and make me feel that I've visited that place. Thanks for posting the parameters. I've always really wanted to learn more about photography (and actually how to properly use my DSLR) and what makes a good shot, so these are helpful for starting to think how lenses make a difference. My husband is after me to actually purchase a good lense or two, but practical me has been doing a lot of waffling because I'm not sure where to start and don't want to waste my $s on something that isn't a good fit on what I'd actually take pictures of (which these days is primarily my kids). If you have any suggestions for where to begin, that would be awesome to post about! I like the first and last shots in your sequence above. Thanks for posting the parameters.
