Five Activities for the Kids on a Rainy Day

Living on the west coast means we experience our fair share of rainy days!  What do we do to keep these kids busy with minimal involvement from us?

1. Go in the rain anyway. Puddle jump.  Rainsuits and boots are awesome.

2. Sports in the house.  Our basement walls show that our kids have a lot of fun down there! Hockey, soccer, basketball...

3. Crafting and creating; this ranges from bracelet making to drawing Pokemon to playdough.  A few random things from the dollar store bin of crafts and off  Nya goes creating.  Kai likes to use YouTube to learn how to draw whatever he is in to.

4. Set up a fort; Kai calls it his "Town Hall " because he's been playing Clash of Clans.

5. Build.  We have Lego, a marble set, puzzles, and trains; this is great for all ages!
