The Spring 30 for 30 challenge has begun! The purpose is to use 30 different pieces of clothing to create 30 different outfits in 30 days. Each Sunday I will post my outfits for the week (we started on Friday so this will be short.) It is very interesting to me that people care about what I'm wearing so if you don't care, I totally get it. I feel so awkward taking photos of myself because I feel like I'm saying "Hey everyone! Look at me!" but it's sort of the best way to see an outfit put together so...
Day 1: Shorts (Target) and a light sweater (H&M). I realized these shorts were too short so switched them out halfway through the day for my longer pair for the month.
Day 2: Jean capris (that I don't like but I don't have many capris options), black SHE IS tank, beige cardigan (Target), Guess ankle boots (Winners). I went to find some new capris but couldn't find any in the $30 price range–if you know of some, let me know! PS How awesome is the Capilano Suspension Bridge Cliffwalk?
I don't normally accessorize but church on Sunday is a great reason to do so!
Love,

Thanks, Ali!! Do you do white jeans? I got the shirt from Taylor C off bidding wars ;)
ReplyDeleteMy mom always had a rule that you should only wear white (shoes, purse, pants, skirt) between Victoria Day weekend and Labour Day weekend but...spring comes early in Vancouver, so you are just fine!
ReplyDeleteThat's the rule! I couldn't remember when I was "allowed" to start but I saw someone else wearing white capris to church so I knew it was all good :)
DeleteI am really looking forward to this! I like to see how normal people dress for normal life... you know, not those $800 outfits on Pinterest. Also I think it's time I looked for some white jeans.
ReplyDeleteYes, you would look fantastic in white jeans or capris! My full outfits are usually closer to $50 which is probably more realistic for people :)
Deletegood on you for actually putting thought into your outfits despite 4 kids and an on-the-go life!
ReplyDeleteHonestly I couldn't even imagine doing this! Being a nurse and living in scrub pants/t-shirts for work and then mostly working out/walking the dog daily puts me in lulu/runlikeagirl capris/shorts/tanks pretty much all the time. jeans and real clothes are too dressed up haha. pathetic maybe? then running errands after leaving the muddy dog park or after a run at the trails means i also dress that way in public. oops! maybe don't make this comment public! lol.
I can totally erase this comment if you want, let me know :) BUT, I think for you that totally makes sense--you have a work uniform and are so active!! I love workout gear but tend to spend TOO much time in them so this has helped challenge me a bit.
DeleteI looooooove your H&M sweater, I'ma hafta get me one. Since we are matching sweater buddies and all! ;)
