Nerdy Finds From Uncommon Goods

Being that Gary and I are both nerdy science teachers, I was excited to find some sweet items at Uncommon Goods online! Not only do they have such a variety of products but I appreciate their commitment to featuring products with a recycled component and ones that have been made in a socially and environmentally friendly way.

Here are some of the products that we ordered:
1.  A Periodic Table Clock that you can see here. I love it as it's so "us" and that it's beautifully done–I enjoy wooden products. Although most people probably wouldn't request this as a wedding gift, Uncommon Goods does have a huge selection of wedding gifts here.

2. Comfy Moon Phases Knee High Socks found here.  From waxing gibbous to waning crescent, it has each phase.  So cheesy and so comfy. Cute, right? At just $16.45 Canadian, they are a great birthday gift idea and you can find more at Uncommon Goods.

3. A Plush Organ Heart. There are a lot of different organs to choose from and I love that this teaches kids what they actually look like, and seriously, our kids play with their stuffies so much! From lungs to the uterus, these anatomically correct plushes are great for a real or gag gift.

4.  Library Card Socks for the reader in your life for just $13.71. They can be found here and come in several sizes for both men and women.  Perfect for your book club friends!  Although Gary wouldn't ask for these socks for his birthday, there are many gifts for men to be found here–so many for the baseball fan too!

If you're looking for a unique gift for family or friend, you might want to check them out! Also, it was shipped within a week--love that!

Love,
Louise
