You Got It, Dude {Fuller House}

You got it, dude. Have mercy. How rude. Cut it out. Oh man, I can still hear my sisters and I saying these catch phrases from Full House.  When we were growing up, this was one show that we would watch together because it was something that worked for our age ranges and it was deemed appropriate by our parents.

When I heard that Fuller House was coming to Netflix, I had to look to see what would be the premise.  It's about DJ Tanner-Fuller sharing a home with her sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy Gibler to help raise her three boys.  It will be out on February 26th so in order to prepare for it I wanted to get my kids on board.

We pulled up the pilot of the original Full House on Netflix and watched together as a family.  I wasn't sure how the boys would feel about it but fortunately Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey saved the day by connecting well to their "boy humour."  We only have to get through 8 seasons to get caught up...I don't think that will be happening any time soon!

By the way, an important part of our family TV time is having a good snack and our "go to" snack of choice is popcorn.  When we were kids, this is what my parents gave us as well– I still use the popcorn maker that my mom gave me over 15 years ago. My only tip would be to make sure everyone has their own bowl...mine's always the biggest because a kid or two will always want to cuddle up and share once theirs is done!

I love that the episodes are only 24 minutes, rated G, and deal with preteen issues.  Anyone else excited about Fuller House on Netflix?  And seriously, has it really been almost THIRTY YEARS since Full House debuted?!

Have you watched Full House with your kids? Will you be watching Fuller House

Love,
Louise

PS Hey sisters, maybe we should get together and watch it!

    So excited! I have been trying to catch up on most of the sessions of Full House and had to resort to watching the first and last episode of every session. There is already a group of Moms here that want to watch it together, so this might become my new "night out" :)
