Coastal Climbing Giveaway!

It's no secret that our eight year old son, Kai, has fallen in love with rock climbing.  What started out as a fascination with American Ninja Warrior has turned out into a passion for climbing.

We discovered Coastal Climbing , in Surrey, and Kai first participated in a drop-in class to see if he liked it.  A drop in is $17.00 and includes two hours of climbing.  You are provided with a harness, chalk, and a professional to set you up and belay you.

Kai loved it so much that he joined the Little Lions.  He gets to go once a week for three months.  It's for ages 5-9 and includes an instructor, equipment and 1.5 hours of climbing each time!  They also get their own chalk bag and shirt.  I think it's very reasonable too at just $125.00.   Another perk is that during this three month period, they are allowed to go bouldering (that's where they can climb in places like the cave without a harness) at any time for free!

There are a lot of other programs from youth to beginner to advanced so there is something for everyone. For example, a beginner program is where you have a 3 hour lesson, and get a 4 day pass as well as a belay test.  This costs just $60.00. Could be a fun date night?! Gary, what do you think?

While Kai has his climbing lessons, I just hang out in the birthday party area (yes, they do birthdays!), read on the couches, watch him from the second level, drink free coffee and use the wifi!

I highly recommend checking out Coastal Climbing.  I think their facility is great, the staff is very friendly and  knowledgeable, and their prices are affordable.

I am happy to let you know that I have two pairs of Climb Time Drop-in Sessions to give away!   What's better than one winner? Two!  Good luck and just follow the instructions on the Rafflecopter below.   Winners will be chosen by the lovely Rafflecopter Friday September 19th.

**Disclaimer-these opinions are my own.  I was not given any compensation for this post other than the four Climb Time Drop-in Sessions to give away**
