My little sister is a momma! We always do Christmas Eve with my side of the family and the plan was to meet at 2pm BUT that morning my sister Trish called to say that she was in labour! I went to her house at 10am and the midwife was there. Trish was already 6cm and totally relaxed. By 11:00am she was about 8cm so we went to the hospital....
Maria and I were with her and our role was to support Trish until she was 10cm dilated and then we would leave her with the midwife and Steve to bring baby into this world. I was `allowed' to take a few photos but really, I was there to help her first and foremost.

Welcome to the world Hannah Joy, we are so happy you are here safe and sound!

WOW!! Congratulations to all of you on the birth of this beautiful little girl! 4 more babies to go :)
ReplyDeleteYa, it definitely does not look like Nutters was in labour! It looks like you took those photos with a pretend actor to show what labour can look like! :) Good job, ladies & McSteamy! :)

ReplyDeleteHope that your sister(s actually) are doing well, and feeding/sleeping/pooping is all as it should be.
Ps I hope you are feeling better... assume from the post that it was just a 24 bug.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing these pics of you supporting your sis I am convinced that I would want someone in addition to my husband in the room for support. How awesome it must have been to be there with your sister :)
