It really seems like just yesterday that my niece, Ani, was born. It was a day that changed our lives forever. Maybe more than any other event. She came at a time when our family was feeling a lot of sadness, and the joy she brought was unbelievable, something we never imagined we could feel at that time. My mom had 3 months left to live, and the celebration and happiness that Ani's birth brought, was so evident on my mom's face. It was the best day she had had in months, and I had probably never seen her that happy. She was actually there for the delivery.
