Kaboodles Toy Drive

Kaboodles is an award-winning independent toy store with three locations in Vancouver and one in Victoria.  The atmosphere is fun and unique and the toys they carry are great quality and good value–your kids will get a lot of play time out of them!  From Playmobil to Lego to wooden toys, they have something for everyone (even those Pokemon cards that my boys "have" to have).   Right now they have eight different advent calendars to choose from and we love our Playmobil one.

We recently tried out one of their products: Quercetii Migoga Marble Run Vortis.  I like buying building toys so that the kids problem solve together and work on their fine motor skills.  There are many examples of these from Lego to Magformers to Wedgits, and of course, Marble Runs.

The boys enjoy the racing aspect and somehow it keeps them busy for an hour at a time!  They'll ask what marble I'm "voting" for (they are all different colours) to try to involve the whole family.

These marble tracks are made for ages 4+ but putting it together definitely requires an older child or just some parental guidance.  Nya (aged 4)  also loved racing them on her own.

I love that this is a toy that can be taken apart and stored in a box so that it doesn't take up a lot of floor space which we're really trying to be better at in our home.

Kaboodles if having their 3rd annual Toy Drive where you can purchase a toy in their store for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau at 10% off.   The Toy Drive begins today and runs until Christmas Eve. As foster parents, we know some of the children in low income homes who benefit from toy drives like this and have seen the joy on their faces upon receiving their gifts.

If you would like the chance to win this Quercetti Marble Run for yourself AND have one donated to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau, please enter the Rafflecopter below.  Please note that the winner will have to pick up the toy from a Kaboodles store (located in Vancouver and Victoria).
