Williams Park {Langley, BC}

One of our local Langley parks that we enjoy is Williams Park.  It's located on 68th and 238th and provides ample exploring for our kids.  Usually we just walk a route along the river and then head to the playground, but this time we decided to do some geocaching as well.  We've been to this park at least 20 times and through geocaching we discovered a whole new area of it!

{I love ferns. Under the fronds are these circles called sori which are full of spores!}

{Trying to find a geocache in that stump...wasn't there!}

{The "Kid's Cache" that we couldn't find last time but this time Eagle Eyes Mom found it!}

{Koen chose the prize, it's an elephant ring.}

{Following the river to a second cache.  The river is so high right now!}

{That itty bitty tube is another geocache; they come in all shapes and sizes!}

{I love that mossy staircase...isn't nature so lovely?!}

Have you been to Williams Park?  It's a hidden gem as it's off the main roads a bit but it's worth it!

Love,
Louise

The beauty of Williams Park in any season in Langley BC. A great family-friendly walk for all ages.

  3. I can't wait to eventually get into geocaching...I think the kids would love it (and me too!). Do you guys leave something in each one you find? If so, what?

    1. I am loving it more and more. So, you know trinkets that you get (little plastic animals, fun pencils etc), we keep them in a ziploc bag in our van so whenever we go geocaching we have something to trade (you leave an item and take one!)
