tons! he leaves for work before i get up, so i text him as soon as i'm up and then we just converse (not constantly) over the rest of his shift. at least once an hour. :)
My husband calls me on his lunch break basically every single day just to check in. We text probably about 3 times a day about reminders or things that happened too.
If we work the same shifts, not at all because I don't use my phone at work. If we work opposite shifts, he will call me when I'm home during the day and I will call him from my work phone on my dinner break at night.
Never. We have one phone between the two of us and it is with him most of the time. I suppose I shouldn't say never as I did email him at work last night with some hiking ideas. It is pretty rare though. When we had a landline I would call him once a day when he worked and I was home.
it totally depends on the day, and where we are, etc. He doesn't text much, so we mostly call each other...usually about 2-4 times a day (if I am at work, away, running errands, etc)
When we aren't working at the same school: maybe one email (or one text at the end of the day). He's teaching so I don't expect him to read or respond unless he has a prep block or on computer lab lunch supervision.
Depends on the day, but he'll often try to call on his lunch break. I will text him through the day if I have things I need/want to say or ask, but the shop is so loud, he can't hear it so I know I'll usually just hear from him when he's on break or when he finishes his work day. And then on days off, if we're out and about, we text here and there about little things.
Zero...unless it is something relatively urgent (i.e. worth getting someone to go and get him to come to the phone). This is definitely related to the jobs that we do and our terrible use of our cell phones.

ReplyDeleteThis is such an interesting question!! I am intrigued in the answers....

ReplyDeleteAll day every day for text. I guess that's another perk of being a youth pastor's wife!
ReplyDeleteWe email throughout the day!
ReplyDeleteNever before we texted. Now we text or call 1-2/day, depending on the day. Lists, big things, or if either is with the kids, we send pics.
