Halloween 2015

Our kids has such a great time trick-or-treating! This year we had a Little Pumpkin with us which made it very memorable--it reminded me of Koen last year...just so much excitement over every single candy.  There were a lot of comments over the cuteness of our Little Pumpkin :)  Oh man, I wish I could share photos!!

The two littles went a lot further than I expected and we all enjoyed ourselves.  I find it a bit overwhelming as our neighbourhood is wild--I think we had 300 kids. Kai just sat on the steps and passed out the candy once we returned home.

And now the kids have been spending time sorting and trading their candies.  They actually don't ask about eating it which is great!  The boys are allowed to have their candy bags in their room and have two per day.  The littles have theirs hidden so they don't ask about it...too much.  So far, so good.

I hope that you had a great Halloween and that the time change wasn't too wild for you.  We put the kids to bed an hour later but of course, that didn't make a difference. Hopefully by the end of the week we'll be back to a decent hour!

Love,
Louise

  1. We had a very quiet Hallowe'en at our place. Apparently my grandson enjoyed his first experience of trick or treating. His favourite part was knocking on the doors. Sure wish we could see your cute little pumpkin!

  2. Holy smoke that's a lot of kids at your door! We had 30! Years past my parents say there used to be around 75, but 300 is crazy!
