Spring Break Plans

I know some people are already into their Spring Break but ours starts tomorrow!  What are we planning on doing over the next 2 weeks (besides tackling a `To Do' list)?

1.  Going to Green Lake as a family.  We go every Spring Break with my sister and her family so that the kids can explore and have fun together.  This year, we'll be going to visit friends in Williams Lake for the day, too!

 2. Gary and I are going to Las Vegas for 3 nights!  It's for our 10 year anniversary which will be in 2 months.  Oh man, the Canadian dollar is definitely not ideal right now!

{This was from when I first went to Vegas 9 years ago with some girlfriends! I'm in the pink shirt and 4 months pregnant with Kai Bear}

3.  Going to FlyOver Canada with the boys.  Nya's too small as you have to be 40" and up but I think the boys will LOVE it.  I've never tried it before, but my dad, who has actually flown his Cessna 172 all around Canada, has gone and really enjoyed it!  Kids and youth get a 25% discount from March 9-20th which means their cost is $11.18 if you order online.  I will be reviewing it so I'll let you know what I think :)

I would love to hear if you have any Spring Break plans and what they are!

  1. We went to Van Dusen Gardens today. Kids are free for the month of March. When you have four kids, that is really attractive! First time going, even though I've lived in Vancouver my whole life and work just across the street.

    1. Marsalie, what a great day for it!! I just checked out prices and the cost for adults is totally reasonable! Maybe we'll have to do it the same day that we do FlyOver Canada since we'll be in Vancouver anyway!

    2. There is a 2 for 1 Entertainment coupon too if you are both going. :)

    3. Perfect! We'll do it on the same day :) Thanks Marsalie!

    4. I put a few pictures up on my blog if you want to check them out. :). The kids enjoyed it there.

  2. Looks like you'll have an awesome break! I'm glad you're heading up to Williams Lake -- and a little jealous.
