Glow Christmas in the Fraser Valley

Glow is a Christmas event geared towards people of all ages in Langley, BC. With four light gardens, a 210-foot musical tunnel, food trucks, and Christmas market, it will definitely get you into the Christmas spirit. It has the beauty of outdoor lights in the cozy comfort of an indoor environment–a greenhouse!

Some of the things that we enjoyed were:
  • stroller and wheelchair-friendly (flat, no exposed wires)
  • indoor (warm and dry–I had to remove my scarf halfway and could have just worn a sweater rather than coat)
  • local (located at Milner Village Garden Centre in Langley, BC)
  • kids activity (find the hidden presents located in the four gardens and receive a prize)
  • mistletoe booth
  • samples in the market (so delicious and I should've bought the chocolate salami)
  • hanging lights (this is my favourite part and they've made them with plastic covers to prevent injury)
  • musical tunnel which lights up in time with the music
  • organized and friendly (this is huge–from tickets to parking to security, customer service was top notch)
  • free Wifi available

Here are some photos from our time there...

Sled at Glow Christmas at Milner Gardens
This sled has room for a lot of people!

This sled has three rows of seats so you could fit a lot of people into a photo! I do wish that they had volunteers available to take photos so that families and couples could be in photos together. I did stop a few people to ask but it would be awesome if there were designated people for that. Parking was more than adequate but we were there from 4-6 PM and I'm sure that it could get quite busy later on.

The big question that everyone always has is whether it is worth the cost. This is a tricky question for me because I don't tend to spend a lot on family activities. Online, prices are $19.99/adult, $14.95/child (6-12) and senior, children 5 and under are free. You are able to get a family pass for $59.99 which is for 2 adults and 3 kids. The price is comparable to other Christmas events in the Lower Mainland so if you would normally spend $60 on a family Christmas event then this would be great because of it's convenience, beauty and physical comfort! As a date night it was lovely because we could take our time to enjoy the samples, check out each light display, and relax with an adult beverage together. I have no idea why we didn't indulge in the food trucks because that REEL Mac and Cheese looked awesome!

I hope that answered some of your questions about Glow. Will you be going?

Love,
Louise

As always, I'd love to see you on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
I was given a pair of tickets for Glow Christmas in order to spread the word about it and opinions are my own.
